Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is a native of Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her father who plays hockey. Aryna Sabalenka, born on May 5th, 1998, at Minsk Belarus. She has 12 WTA titles throughout her career, which includes her Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. As a specialist of doubles she has also won at the US Open of 2019 as and the Australian Open of 2021 with Elise Mertens. The world's singles ranking rose up to the top spot in January 2023. She rose up to the top of the doubles rankings in the following year, after triumphing in Melbourne. This made her the second Belarusian tennis player succeed in her field. Her coach was the former Russian tennis player Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the conclusion of the 2019 season and partially at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann also served as the coach she had for a short period from August to September of 2020. Antonio Dubrov is her coach, and has been since at the beginning of 2020. Her idols are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
